One of our goals at Wild Wonder Forest School is to make our programs accessible to all families. We are striving to achieve this by making bursaries available to low-income families. These bursaries are made possible because of private donations, fundraising efforts, donations from partner organizations, and in-kind contributions from Wild Wonder. If you or your organization want to help us meet this goal of increasing accessibility through bursaries, please let us know! Since we are not a registered charity, we are not able to offer charitable receipts for donations. Please contact us if you think you might be able to help us reach this goal! If you are unable to donate money at this time, please help us by spreading the word!
Although all programs may not have bursary positions, we will let families know in Upcoming Program descriptions when they are available. Families interested in receiving a bursary for one of our programs are required to fill out an application that we will provide. Please note, that we cannot guarantee that all families that apply for a bursary will be granted one if we receive more applications than spaces available.
A huge thank you goes out to families and organizations that have provided bursaries that have helped low-income families attend past Wild Wonder programs. This includes the Sackville Rotary, who has provided partial bursaries for our winter and summer 2018 programs.
Please visit our Supporters page for more information about our funders and the organizations that support the work of Wild Wonder.
More play please!
Here's a little video we put together that highlights the need for more play in childhood, especially outdoor play! Wild Wonder is working to make this a possibility for all children by providing bursaries to make forest school more accessible to low-income families. Please contact us if you can help us achieve this goal through a donation or helping us fund-raise.
